Kato Davit install

Kato Davits has made a davit for a newer R-29 and has a picture of the Davits on their site. If the owner of that vessel is on this forum, can you please reply on this thread our send me a PM. I think that is the route I want to go, but I have some questions on performance as well as some extra owner added supports that were installed.

Hi,
I checked out that system but I felt it would be too much stress on the swim step. I went with a Dingy Butler fully automatic and it mounts on swimstep near transom. I had a 400LBS dingy on it but sold now looking for something 200 LBS or less.

I just checked out the Dingy Butler, the video of him building one is worth the time. He truly is building each one from scratch in a small workshop. Reminds me of my beginning in the EV industry working from my home shop 35 years ago.

These davits are pretty cool! I'm definitely looking at it for my C30-CB. They are very helpful and i'm about ready to pull the trigger on buying...
