Hello all;
Our Kenyon single burner stove on our R21 packed it in a while back. We initially tried to revive it but after some reflection decided that with so many great camping stoves available, that seemed the way to go. So, in deciding what to do to make best use of the the open insert (where the stove was), we built a drop in storage unit with a removable cutting board. The teak cutting board above the refrigerator is our secondary prep area and our tabletop for our camping stove. The insert is low profile so the passenger butt cushion still sits on the counter. The box is approximately 12"X12"X12", still leaving useful space below. The insert has more than enough space for vegetables, dry goods, beer...
After 8 seasons with LG, it just keeps getting better.
