Kicker or no kicker? CB or no CB?

My wife and are going to have a cutwater 32 built. She wants the command bridge and I want the coupe. We know we want outboards. Downfall is only 2 steering stations for the Yamaha outboards. If you get a command bridge you can't have an aft steer station but with the coupe you can. Plus we want to install a kicker for trolling. What are your opinions? Can you get the command bridge with out a steer station installed and have it located to the aft station area?

We opted for the sedan on our RT29, just not a fan of the command bridge. Personal choice.

but face it, fishing takes precedence!!

We love the bridge! Great for sunsets and nice 360 degree views. Also gives great visibility when docking.

Factory will not do a major alteration like moving the CB steering station. Personally, I would get what the admiral wants for any such decision!

Beyond that, both are great choices, mostly depends on preferences about style, how much you like being outside, and how many people will be on board (CB is great for more than 2 folks on board). We have the sedan and have never really missed the CB, as we boat year round and it's cool here in the PNW.

BTW, one thing I highly recommend unless you're big on fishing: a full cockpit enclosure. Adds tremendous utility in the cool months as an extra living space.

some other points to think about

if you are planning on using a lot of solar or roof storage you want the sedan.
the CB gives more entertaining space. but the cockpit on a 30/32 is pretty large for the boat size.
be honest about the weather conditions you will use the boat in. 99% of CB style boats here in Seattle has it enclosed.
The bow area may solve the lounging needs without the need for the CB on the 32.
