Had no clue from the (20+) R27 Manuals what the function of the "Kisae" Remote switch is. "Tugnuts" folks advise it's to activate the Inverter. However, they also advise it's not a good idea to leave the remote (i.e. inverter) ON -since it is drawing from the batteries to power the inverter, even if "Inverter" is not selected -and not actually converting AC?

Still begs the question (for RT Inc.): what is the "remote" switch's function, since there is already a position on the Master Power panel (8" below the "remote" switch) FOR Inverter power? Is it necessary to pre-select via the "remote" switch to activate the Inverter?

P.S. Our 2019 R27 is a great boat..enjoying it immensely. Wonderful quality.

The KISAE switch turns on the inverter. The breaker on the panel connects the inverter output to the boat. As long as the KISAE switch is turned on the inverter is drawing current from the batteries to produce AC power, even if it is not connected to the boat via the breaker.

If you have an electric grill you have the same thing. A breaker and an on/off switch.
A breaker is not an on/off switch. It is a safety device. Same as in your house. You have a breaker panel and many appliances with switches.
Selector switch just picks which power source you are using. It is not an on/off switch.
When i select generator on same selector switch it does not turn on generator. It just tells the system that once i turn on the generator with the separate generator switch i want the generator power not shore power.
