Launched "Little Debbie" today

I had the marina launch our tug this morning. Very few boats in the water, "Little Debbie" is the only boat on Dock B at Harbor Lights Marina. It was nice to hear the Yanmar running again!

Looks familiar Howard. I launched my boat in Lake George a few weeks ago...the first and only boat in the water at Harris Bay Yacht Club...surrounded by 269 empty slips! We are a hardy bunch!

We share your joy. We launched our tug on 4/6 and spent Easter Weekend anchored out on the Chesapeake Bay. The Easter Sunrise was sweet surrounded by peaceful scenery and God's creatures!

Congratulations Howard and Debbie. Now I'm envious as we're on the hard now for about a month after 9 wonderful weeks down south on Gipetto. Hope we can do some cruising together maybe before or after the Northeast Rendezvous.

We took Little Debbie out for the first day cruise of the season on Sunday. We went to Wickford and anchored outside and just south of the breakwater while grilling a couple of nice steaks. When we were done we entered the harbor and tied up at the town dock for an hour or so while Debbie did some shopping. I stayed by the tug and answered the questions about "What kind of boat is that?"

I learned that Rhode Island is not in boating mode during April. We only saw 3 boats out on the bay during the trip. I originally planned to use one of the Wickford town moorings but they were not installed. I asked the harbormaster about them and was told they will be installed sometime around Memorial Day!

Ted, maybe we can meet up and cruise together to the Rendezvous. Others are coming from the area, it would be nice to get a small convoy heading to Essex!

Mon Petit got wet 4-18-2012. We also were the first boat in at the West Dennis Yacht Club. Today, our friends launched their 26' Nordic tug. Now there are two of us! Hopefully the temps will keep going up so the folks with those open helms can enjoy the water.
