Where is the switch for the outside amber running lights on my 2017 Ranger Tug 29 CB? I could not find the information I n the manual.

Many thanks.

On our 29 Classic, the switch for these exterior amber lights is just inside the transom door - a rocker style switch.

On our 2018 R29, the switch is in the cockpit, on the 3-switch panel on the starboard side. Near the aft helm if you have one. The same panel that control the overhead cockpit lights and the underwater lights.

I hope that helps.

I did not try those rocker switches. Many thanks.

I tried the 3-switch panel and it did not turn the lights off, but that was my first idea because everyone who sits back there or leaves the boat that way switches something on or off that was not intended.

Many thanks.

Ok....here is my story. When my boat was brand new, the red lights in the overhead would shine "Pink" when off. This could only be seen in the dark. Frankly, I thought it was normal until my underwater lights would not stop flashing erratically and coming on uncommanded. I asked the FM guys at the rendezvous about that...they came and looked at it for me and determined my 3-switch panel was bleeding power between the switches somehow..... They replaced it late that week and all good since.

Perhaps you have a condition similar to that...

In the meantime, you should be able to find the fuse to pull for that circuit.

I hope that helps.
