We have a new to us 2007 21 EC and would like to be able to lock the door from the inside when we are asleep in the cabin. Has anyone came up with any ideas to make a lock. This way I will get a chance to sleep & my wife won't spend the night saying "what was that?"

My 2013 21EC came with a nylon strap that snaps to hold the cabin door closed from the inside.

My door does have a strap on it, maybe there is a way to put a snap on that and the other piece can be attached to the cabin wall somehow. Thanks! My boat was made back in the days when not everything had to be under lock & key.
