Log book

I’m new to yawing a log book on a boat. I am not cruising right now, so it’s mostly day trips and an occasional overnight on the weekends

What do you guys use for your log? 3 ring binder?

What are your typical entries like? What information do you record.

How about when you get fuel?

I keep a fishing log on my boat ie: fish caught, size, time of day, tides, weather etc!
If you look on Amazon I think you'll find what your looking for, they have some really nice ships log books, average price is about $ 25, leather with spaces for info on cruises, maintenance, etc.
