Loose Steering wheel? (helm)

First question is this normal, if it isn't how can I tighten it back up?
I'm assuming I can pop off the logo cap on the front of the wheel and tighten down a lock nut... am I on the right track? How do I get the cap off is it press fit or threaded or...?

It’s not normal, but it can be easily fixed. The cap with the sticker logo pops right out. Just give it a gentle pull, and behind it you’ll find a nut. You’ll need a 15/16" socket or wrench.
