Subject: Losing items behind the R-21EC Refer & side control panel

Today, I lost several small pieces that flew out of my hand and slid out of view down into the narrow space running along the cabin's starboard wall side between the control panel & Refer counter top. I searched some for them in the electrical locker below the helm seat, but gave up after awhile and did not want to remove the Refer to gain better access. Losing things this way could be annoying at times.

What have others done to block this gap to avoid losing things ?

Thanks... 🙂

Drop a $20 bill down there; it will incentivize you to get the other stuff...

CN: I wish I had your humour... very good... I'll use that response when 1st Mate loses her makeup mirror down that gap and wants me to fish it out.

Think I read someone had used the foam pipe insulation lengths, cut to fit those openings...

In my (serious) opinion, that gap likely allows reefer heat to ventilate.

If not, a 100$ bill will for sure!
