Hello folks.

I'm sorry to bug you all with my silly questions.

1. Parts list for all filters on a Volvo d1-30. My local Volvo dealer seems to be having issues understanding what fuel filters are needed.
2. Flags. I would like to get a flag for the back of the boat. How do they stay on the wood pole? Any suggestions on a good place to get one?

Hello Handy,

1. You have a filter mounted under the back bench seat in the cockpit (primary filter) which is likely a Racor 110 filter/water separator like this:

If that is what you have, then you need the Racor R11T filter like this:

I use the 10 micrometer model.
Your D1 probably has a fuel filter integrated into the fuel system for which you can get replacements from your Volvo dealer. Carrying a couple or more extras of both filters is good practice in the event you end up with a bad load of fuel (lots of water or algae, for example).

My 2013 21EC has a flag socket which takes 1" dia pole...like the one sold here (http://www.defender.com/product3.jsp?pa ... id=1758805). Double check your fitting in case it takes a 3/4" base flag pole. I screwed Stainless steel cup hooks into the wood, then used "Taylor Made Skipper Flag Clips" like these

also sold at Defender.com
