The voltage reading on my Garmin Chartplotter and the 12v female plug, at the helm, are both reading almost a volt lower than at the Victron and the 12v gauges in the cave. This can generate low
Voltage alarms at the garmin and I’ll see the screen flickering.

Trying to determine where the loose connection might be. Checked behind the Garmin unit and all was snug. Where else might I check?

Thanks

given you have a command bridge, there's a dash fuse block that connects back to both a positive and negative busses. Check that for sure.

Thanks, that would be at the command bridge ?

one end of it connects to the command bridge fuse block, the other would connect to another bus bar. you need to identify where those bus bars are, both positive and ground and check the connections. On my C30, there are bus bars buried in the inner guts of the boat near the inside helm, and there's also a a ground bus in one of the lazarrettes. It's usually 6AWG wire, at least on my boat.

I see the fuse block up and the command bridge, many of the terminals are corroded. I have some sandpaper to clean them off, see what that does.

I see a bus bar in the starboard side lazerette. They’re all secured. Would there only be one bus bar on the RT29?
