Macerator quit

I pulled Sea Holli out of the water last Saturday. Before doing so I was pumped out. The next day I was flushing the holding tank. I pumped 11 gals out twice, on the third flush the macerator kinda slowed down, then picked up again. Then it stopped. I checked for a fuse, and hit the dash switch reset. The macerator started to run for about 3 seconds, then stopped again. Now I have a red light on the dash switch and when I turn the switch on I hear a faint thump, like it wants to run, but won't. I thought maybe I overheated the pump, so I waited a couple days and tried again. Same thump, but won't run. Suggestions?
Thanks,

Take off the end cap and using a big screw driver blade give the pump a few turns. Make shore it is free to turn.

I'd try that if I could get to it. I know where it is, but I might have to cut a hole...
Thank you for replying.

Try sticking a garden hose in the discharge through hull and back flushing. You may have a wad of toilet tissue or something impeding the macerator.

Brad,
That worked! Thank you! Although I took a bath... At least it was kinda warm yesterday.

figured I add this while on the same subject. Was getting the boat ready to come out for the season and was running the head to add additional water to flush the holding tank. The head pump ground to a halt, first getting slower and slower, till it stopped and wouldnt budge.
I'll cut to the chase.... Bad push button switch. Lost complete connectivity...
New switch and the head is back to life.
