I'm getting a magma grill for cooking on the boat, and was wondering if anyone knows the railing size for a 2023 R25. Has anyone bought one and have a suggestion for the best mounting option? I'm looking at the side rail on the starboard side of the cockpit. Thank you in advance.

I have a 2019 R23, and I use the Magna pivot mount in the starboard side pole holder on the stern. Works great.

Is that a 1" mount?

On the West Marine site, it's called an all angle adjustable rod holder mount. My Magma grill was pre-drilled to accommodate it.

Ah sorry, missed that it was the rod holder mount. Which grill do you have? Do you leave it in under way, or stow it? Wasn't sure how stable it would be for the full size grill.

I have the Magma Cabo, it's about 22" wide and works great. I built a cradle that it sits in below deck. I can get pics tomorrow when I'm at the boat.

Pretty sure all the boats below the R43 have 1” stainless. The standard Magma mounts work great!

On our Cutwater28 we installed a flush mount receiver for the original Magma on the port side by the cooler. It can rotate and lock in place at different spots. We always store it after use upside down under the cooler cabinet. The arm is bolted to the BBQ so it is a little awkward to store

For our RT 27 we have the smaller round Mega and have the rod holder mount and put outside on the Starboard side rear corner and step on to the swim step to cook. We do remove when under way. Have Dingy on weaver davits and just pivot out of the way for better access when needed.

Regular, Here's a pic of the cradle I made for when it's stowed below.
