Majestic TV Remote

I have a 2013 Ranger27. TV is a Majestic Model 190DU
The Majestic TV remote has stopped working, not a battery issue.
Majestic not much help in finding a replacement.
Will a common remote work or must it be coded to the TV
Any place to get replacements or used ones.

There are a number of after market universal remote controls ranging from very low cost units to extreme high end home automation devices. They have a list of TVs, DVD's, etc with a corresponding code. This code is entered into the remote and it should replace the original remote (in theory).
Google "universal remote control" check amazon. Check the instructions for a Majestic code(s).


I have used One for All and Harmony devices in the past with success.

If you go with a generic remote it looks like the codes for the majestic are: 0031 0000 0001

Thanks for the replies.
Will try a universal and see if the code works.
Majestic customer support said they would look for an old model for that unit but never came back with one.

Alibi27 - did you ever find a remote that works? My remote just stopped working and it is not a battery problem either. Hope I can learn from what you found out. Thanks.
