Majestic TV sound cuts out

After about an hour of use, the sound on the TV starts cutting out for two seconds or so every five seconds or so. It does this regardless of source (iPad, DVD or antenna) and regardless of being plugged in to AC power or not. I realize that it is a 12volt item, but I also know that they are sensitive to voltage fluctuations.

After being off for a while, it is ok and then starts cutting out after an hour or so. Maybe just Neptune telling me not to watch too much TV?

We had the same issue with ours. It would work fine sometimes and other times the sound would come on then off. I called Majestic customer service and explained the issue. He said in some installations a 12volt filter is required. Majestic set me the filter, I hard wired it in and all is good. No sound issues now. I also complained about the picture quality. He said that they improved that in later models but the model# that was installed in my boat thats the way it is. I installed a tilting mount bracket. It changes the angle that you view the picture.
