Mantus Anchor Guard R29 Classic

Has anyone fitted the Manuts Anchor Guard to an R29 Classic with a Rocna anchor. I've just spent several hours trying to get it to fit properly and I've decided that (with the self-deploying) bow roller, it won't work.

Hi Bob:

We had FM do this exact upgrade (Mantis and Rocna) on our R29CB before delivery in April. They did the work and it works perfectly for us. I'm not at my boat (it's parked 2 hours away from my house), but I could take some photos next time I'm there and text or email them to you next weekend if you'd like. (I don't know how to attach photos to this post)

We have used the anchor several times in some fairly testy conditions and it has proven to be the a great decision (to upgrade everything).

Thanks Bryan. The newer 29's have a different anchor roller. The 29 Classics have a self-deploying (pivoting) anchor roller which does not provide enough room for the Mantus anchor guard.
