Mantus Anchor Guard

I purchased a Mantus anchor guard to accommodate a Rocna 15 on my new R31. However, I'm having trouble installing it. When I tighten it down, it binds the bow roller wheel. How have those of you who have made this change been able to tighten the anchor guard so it doesn't move while still leaving the wheel free to roll?

Have you tried adding fender washers between components as spacers?

I have tried stainless flat washers, but not fender washers. Perhaps I should try that.

Yes, it works well now. I think you will like it once you get it installed and aligned properly.
