mantus anchor

Thinking of up grading my anchor. From previous post I believe a rocna 15 will fit on my rt-31 with no modifications need. Has anyone tried a mantus 35 lbs? Did you need to modify anything? Any info on the mantus would be of help, thanks for any replies.

I've had a Mantus on my R25 for more than 3 years. It has given me great confidence and faith in anchoring. It always sets the first time and has never dragged. I'm a big fan. It fit my bow pulpit after extending it by one built in notch.

Hi Dayle, I have the Mantus 35lb anchor on our R31. We have been very happy with it. It sets well and so far has held very well. No complaints at all.

The only problem I have heard about is that on some trailers it may touch the mounting post when putting the boat on the trailer. I don't trailer my boat so I can not verify that. I put a photo in my album of the the anchor on our boat.
