Marathon Happy Hour

Gregg and Kathy have made arrangements for us at Marathon Marinia. I cut and pasted an email from Kathy
The address is: 1021 11th street Marathon Florida
Phone 305-743-6575
It is about 1/2 mile before the 7 mile bridge if you are heading south
Thank you Gregg and Kathy
"The Ranger get-together location has been reserved for Monday, Feb 23. Marathon Marina Captain's Lounge and patio. We have reserved the lounge from 4-9pm, but choose whatever timeframe you wish. The pool is a short walk from the lounge. For those sunset watchers, be advised a key card is required for entry to the pool - which Gregg and I have. Also be advised that no glass is allowed by the pool. Thus, only beer in cans and wine in plastic "glasses." We have several plastic wine glasses, and will be glad to share them with those who need them. And, if anyone wishes to come early to use the pool, feel free."

Lisa and I are in and we'll have our truck and we can take those that will be coming from Blackfin. Thanks Mark, Gregg and Kathy for the leg work in getting this set up.

I have a truck as well if we fill up Jim's truck

February 23 is the day and marathon Marinia is the place . It is a friendly get to gether of Ranger / Cutwater and C dory friends. Everyone is welcome. It is a great time for anyone that has questions to get answers. Bring what you would like to drink. Any perhaps something to share

Just a bit more detail on Marathon Marina and our potluck. Plenty of comfortable chairs are available. Thus, no need to bring chairs. Bring your own plates, cutlery and beverages. (If you choose to stroll to the pool to watch the sunset, remember that no glass is allowed there.) Electrical outlets are available if you need them for crockpots, etc. We are expecting a nice turnout. See y'all Monday, Feb 23 about 5 pm. Should it rain, we can move indoors. Otherwise, we'll be outside under the covered patio.

We had a great get-together of owners of trailerable trawlers - Rangers, C-Dory and Rosborough. We didn't see the green flash, but it wasn't because we didn't look. The potluck dinner was phenomenal.
Did anyone leave a small Rubbermaid ice chest (white with pink lid)? If so, please let me know TOMORROW (Tuesday) before we pull out, and we will deliver.

Another great gathering of boaters. It was fun to see old friends and meeting new acquaintances and sharing experiences with owners of different make manufacturers. Of course it was obvious that Ranger was at the top! 🙂
Thanks to all those who put it together and for everyone who brought a great dish to share.

It feels good belonging to a great group of like minder trailerable boaters. Thanks Mark Renshaw for getting the word out and Gregg and Kathy for securing our get together spot at Marathon Marina.
