I'm not sure how this company still exists. I have made serveral inquiries and never get any reply... only promises of emails that are never sent to me. I will go elsewhere. Beware!
 
Go straight to the Coast Guard website. It's easy to do it yourself and avoid the cost of a middleman.
 
Yes, rather deceitful. You always have to be careful around renewal time. As stated you can go direct to the Coast Guard site and renew.
