We are located south if Sacramento, CA. We are having a heck of a time trying to locate a dealer for Mase Generators that carry the 2.5 KW. Does anyone have this information?
Thank you

I can't advise directly as I don't know your area, but are none of the CA dealers listed here any good? http://www.masenorthamerica.com/dealers1.php#CA

Just curious, but are you looking for the actual 2.5 or the newer 2.6?

Yes, we had gone to Mase North America and also talked to the few local dealers and also ones we were referred to in S. CA and cannot find one yet.

I don't know what it is that you are trying to do. It appears that the IS2.5, a 2.2kw genset, has been replaced by the IS2.6 and IS2.7 (according to several websites). Mase North America only shows the IS2.5 on their website. Yanmar shows all three gensets using the same Yanmar L48AE motor.

I found one website that has a IS2.7 for sale but shows a picture and product information for the IS2.5 http://www.perfprotech.com/store/product/Generator-22-kW-IS27,26158.aspx

If you want product information or manuals, you can get them from the Mase website at http://www.masenorthamerica.com/IS_02.51.php

Mase of North America seems to be a bit of a shambles. Their website was last updated in 2007 and carries no mention of the 2.6/2.7.

When collecting digital manuals for our new boat I had to go directly to Mase in Italy for the IS2.6 download.

For reference, this is the IS2.5:

and this is the IS2.6:

Thank you for the information on the Mase Generators, I will need to go back to Yanmar again.

Why don't you try a Next Gen 3.5?

That reads like a really nice gen set. I like that it is Kubota powered and not something from Italy. Admittedly I do not know anything about the MASE but I do trust Kubota powered equipment. Would the factory install the Next Gen during manufacture?
