Hi

I am a newbie R31 owner and am struggling to find a way to turn off the mast head anchor/mooring light.
Previous boats am used to either a seperate switch or as part of a 3 position Nav light. The Nav light has no affect on this light and the only way I have successfully got it to turn off is using the main House breaker. Anyone know what I may be missing?

Cheers

I'm not on board, so this is approximate (maybe even wrong)...on my R27 "NAV lights" is on the DC distribution panel and controls the red ceiling lights in the cabin. The anchor/motorboat light is controlled by a rocker switch between wipers and horn, which is all off in the center position, all running lights in another, and just masthead in the third.

The switch is a 3 position switch with off being in the middle Perhaps you are missing the off and going straight to anchor light? Try moving the switch slowly and see if that helps

Hi

On the 3 position NAV rocker switch there is 2 red indicator lights. In the top position both indicators are lit…basically showing I have anchor and port/starboard nav lights on. The next two positions…middle and bottom…the lower indicator stays on reflecting the anchor light is always on no matter the position. Have tried to rock the rocker back and forth slightly past the mid-point but nothing seems to affect the light. It is there, always shining at me and I swear, if I listen hard enough I hear some very slight demonic laugh 😀

Thanks

Hi

Problem solved … I translated the demonic laugh I could hear and it said “Check the Rocker switch on the command bridge you dummy”

Thanks for the replies

Now on board and I was right about being wrong as to what switch is where. Happy to see the problem is past.
