David, that is exactly the problem - not enough tugnutters were able to get some ruby red slippers on, so;
NO I do not have a running engine...
The dealer in fact (story keeps changing) now says he cannot get the software "tool" to properly 'trim the injectors' on the new ECM...
So I just got off the phone with Andrew who is sending Cummins USA a heads up on the dealer's problem... And sending him a list (reminder) of all the R boats that were scheduled to have a new ECM installed...
Turns out my boat was on that list for a nifty and free, spanking new Bosche ECM - but the previous owner never responded to Cummins
(picture me, banging forehead on hard wood desk because it feels so good when I stop)
Tomorrow I discuss it again with the dealer...
BTW, keep looking for those slippers because I am assured that when you are wearing them the Salmon leap into the boat and beg to be boiled in salt water with potatoes and corn....
And he says Cutwaters are flying out the door faster than they can build them...
