Mink made mess inside our 2022 29CB POO!!! Dec. 2/23

Today went down to our spot and saw cockpit with Mink presents all over it. Opened the engine and the Mink jumped out. What a mess. Worse, opened the door, and smell almost made me keel over. Took the bottom drawer out and yes, he/she left many more smelly messing things. So upsetting. How do we get the smell out and clean our new 29CB? And most important, how did the Mink get in? HELP!!! Heh, and Pacific Playgrounds turned the water off too!! Poor Summer Star.

Well, today on Summer Star 29CB 2022. On her and the mink got into or around the water tank under the foot of 2nd berth
Left my jacket on her last nite.... and guess what, it smells like the mink and all the covers. Our boat is still under the first year warranty. Do we need a new boat already? Used to love the new smell.
 
I really sympathize! We live trapped a nuisance mink at our house once. The idea was to put it in the car and release somewhere wild. When we got a whiff of the smell it was putting off it wasn’t going anywhere near the car. In the end we just released it. Strangely it never reappeared.
 
You might want to contact the BC Trappers Association's Trapers Education Program. Not only can they provide you with who would be happy to get rid of your problem they might have other information as to eliminating this problem in the future. A good place to start! Bob
