Hi Everyone,
I have a new 2018 RT 31CB that came with a Garmin 7616 chart plotter at the lower helm and a 7612 chart plotter at the command bridge. The two units work independently of each other as far as viewing on the screen. The 7612 unit does not show me fuel information other than the input of the max fuel capacity for the tank. Are there settings in the two units that allow a mirroring from the 7616 to the 7612 including all engine info.
Thanks,
Sonny

Sonny, I have the same setup. I don’t want to technically “mirror” one screen to the other because I want full control of the chartplotter from either the flybridge or the cabin helm. However, I think you can get what you want pretty easily. On each unit, from the home screen, go to Charts—>Nav Chart—>Menu—>Edit Overlays—>Data. That will allow you to customize the data that appears alongside your chart. I have a vertical bar along the right side of my chart set to show, from the top down, engine temperature, Oil pressure, fuel economy (nm per gallon), remaining fuel, gps speed and depth. You can set the two chartplotters for different data but I have the same readout on both. This configuration was suggested by the factory guys when we took delivery of our boat and had our orientation.

I am away from my boat til this weekend but I am pretty sure that you can press and hold on any of those data fields and then select what you want displayed there. This is pertaining to the vertical data bar fields.

You have quite a bit of flexibility with your displays and I would encourage you to just sit down at the boat and just click around. You will find nuggets of good stuff and get used to using them as well.
