MMSI

I am finding it difficult to put my MMSI number into my radio. I scroll down the choices and see nothing related to MMSI.
The radio does not have an existing MMSI and is asking for one.

If the radio is already programmed with an MMSI number, you won't be able to re-program it without enlisting the help of the manufacture of your radio.

Call Garmin Tech Service and open ticket, you then send VHF radio to Garmin in Kansas and they factory reset radio and send it back to you, at that point you can enter new MMSI number, make sure it is correct on first entry

It has been years since I did this, but I think it cost app $50
