Curious as to why you think you need it? (monel vs. stainless) -- unless you're seizing a mooring shackle that's bobbing in an out of the water constantly.
(and in whatever application you're using it for, how are you dealing with the possibility of galvanic corrosion, which will be a slight risk with a nickel alloy like monel, depending on the rest of the hardware?)

I order it from Amazon if it's not available at the local hardware store along with the swags for crimping. I use it around the farm for various uses. For down rigger release I use heavy weed eater line about 3 ft long so you have the release inside the boat when attaching, easier on the hands and bright colors for visibility. Bob
