The overhead covering Monkey Fur was dirty and sagging, only being held up by the solar vent trim, we were unable to get it clean to our liking so we decided to replace it with marine vinyl. Sailrite company has a video on how to install vinyl, we purchased the vinyl at a local JoAnn's fabric and craft store. The 3M products were purchased at a local Autozone store.
2 yards of vinyl @ $18.00 yd with 20% off coupon. 3M products about $30.00. I removed the solar vent so I had a smooth surface to work with. We rough cut the material by holding it up in place with small pieces of double side carpet tape. Fitting the vinyl into the curves bit of a challenge, similar to hanging wallpaper only a thicker material. Here's before and after, more photos in my photo album. A few bumps in the fiberglass show but I think it's a much cleaner look and future upkeep will be easier. V berth is next.
These are the "after" pics, for some reason all pics won't load here but they are in the album.

We installed vinyl around the banding in the V-Berth. Removed the monkey fur overhead panels and went over the existing monkey fur without adhesive just in case this didn't work out. Held up the vinyl in place with duct tape and made numerous V cuts all the way around to make it fit the countour. As we were satisfied with one area installed the panel to hold it in place. 11 1/2' x 20" of material. This was a very time consuming project.

That looks great Brian! How long did it take to do it?
About 2 hours to disassemble and 2 hours to install and reassemble the overhead area. First time around takes longer, starboard side trim board was a challenge, the shelf is held in by screws. After removing the shelf the side board wouldn't come out so I drove a screw part way into each lower corner and pulled on them with vice grips to break the adhesive bond. Port side came out easier by pulling the monkey fur.
