Moorage Near Everett on the 4th of July

I'm late to the party and trying to find moorage and/or decent anchorage near Everett for Sunday the fourth. Our plan is to drift and watch the fireworks off Jetty Island and then go somewhere for the night.

**Everett is full- if anyone has a slip there and would like to swap for the night please PM me. I have a covered slip in Edmonds and a slip at Port Ludlow. Both are not being used Friday, 7/2- Monday, 7/5 and yours for the taking.

**Anchorage- We cruise through this area often but I don't really recall seeing a decent spot to anchor for the night. Any suggestions?

**Langley is full- zero surprise there.

I'll throw something out there ... anchor in Lake Union and watch the Seattle fireworks right at the barge! It's the one night of the year boats are allowed to anchor in Lake Union, even overnight. It does tend to be a bit of a fustercluk of boats, but if you anchor on the fringes your a bit safer. It also involves transiting the locks, but that can be an adventure on it's own.

Also, Poulsbo does a great 3rd of July fireworks. Same deal, anchor in Liberty Bay for the night.

That was the original plan and usually my go-to but they were cancelled this year along with Seafair :-/ (personal commentary withheld). Both those events are my favorites ever year.

Great suggestions on Poulsbo and Liberty- we'll be coming up from the Hood Canal that night and Everett seems the closest.

Well that's a bummer that Seattle is cancelled. I typically load my beater sailboat up with friends, water toys, food and drink and join the chaos in the middle of the lake. Out of town this year though.

Elger bay would be a good alternative option for an anchorage. 6.5 miles Northwest of Langely.

Getting back to your initial ask - anchorage near Everett.

Port Susan near Warm Beach is a good anchorage spot.
