Hi Everyone,
If in Canada trust you are enjoying winter so far and looking forward to boating season.

I am looking to change my mooring pennants this winter and seeking some advice.

I first tried using 3/4" ploy and found that this size was too difficult to use with both loops in the single/central cleat.

I changed to 5/8" which worked well from a size pot however it looks small for the size of the boat.

In addition, the 5/8" poly suffered significant chafing in the straight bow chocks after just one season.

I am interested to hear what other Ranger Tugs utilise for the mooring pennant configuration.

Thank you in advance.

Steve

On my R27 the bow chocks appear to be set for an aft breast line. I added two additional bow chocks that were facing forward so the line did not have a sharp edge to chafe on. (skene chocks have a directional fit, port and starboard)
