Dear Factory Support: I am investigating the viability of installing an auxillary motor/outboard (eg, approx 4-5 HP) on the swim platform of my 2009/2010 R21-EC. This would be removable for towing, maintenance, etc and raised when afloat but not actually in use. The aim is to attach it to the swim platform with the screw-down lugs of the outboard and also attach a safety chain to prevent loss of the outboard. Would the swim platform cope with the weight of the motor and also the thrust/torque when in use? This auxillary motor is only a back-up in the event of main engine failure. Your thoughts, please. Regards, Stevan
