We get asked a lot how fast our boat goes and or how many miles to the gallon we get. I wanted to report that a few days ago we departed Fort Lauderdale, Florida and averaged, with our R27, 55 mph at an average mpg of 11. Not only that we traveled 362 miles in one day. Obviously we were towing our boat and that is one of the Big advantages of owning a trailer able boat. We made it to Amelia Island for the last few days of our winter cruise before we trailer our boat to Michigan for its initial Great Lakes water dunking. If anyone is in the Ferandina Beach area please stop by for a visit, we'll be here thru Thursday attending an MTOA Rendexvous.

When I take my R-29 to California I travel 700 miles in one day and my speed is 65mph. Running between 11 and 14mpg with 2005 dodge 5.9 turbo Cummins. My truck gets 26mpg when not towing at same speed.
My truck has the super chip,K&N cool air intake, B&H intake elbow,5" exhaust and two stage exhaust break.

My boat and trailer combined weigh just shy of 14000lbs. 15gal fuel and 10 gal water aboard. I never travel full of liquids.

I mainly drive at 80mph when not towing and get 25.2mpg on hwy.

I looked at getting the chip, but thought it would void the warranty, so I figured I would wait until that is over. Until then 10 to 11MPG while towing at 70mph and 17 HWY while no towing. Chevy 3500 Cummins with Alison Tranny

I drive a Dodge 2500 Ram pickup with Cummins diesel. I have 295K miles on it.
I get 19 mpg on the highway driving empty, but get 15 mpg towing my Red Ranger, which is an R-21EC.
