Subject: My new R29 CB graphics applied today
I had Margaux Graphics apply my graphics today down at the RT Kent factory... and managed to capture Margaux just after she finished her work. I'm pleased with what she did. 😀

Several factory people wanted to know what the IoM Marine flag logo with its Three Legs was all about. I gave them a little lesson/history on the Isle of Man's background that they thought interesting.
During my factory visit, since I had just received my Radio License from FCC along with my MMSI and Call Sign, Andrew Custis, Kenny Marrs and Tim Bates who were climbing all over my boat making sure all things were ship-shape and completed properly before delivering the boat to me tomorrow, I asked Andrew to configure my AIS 800 as I do not own a PC laptop that Garmin still insists on being used (they ignore the Apple laptops for some weird reason). This was done and checked to ensure it was working correctly. They did this by viewing Laxey on another boat's Chart plotter display in the factory yard. 😀 This sure saved me doing this later and having to crawl down into the far end of the Cave to access the AIS 800 behind a removable panel held with two screws.
Andrew told me the AIS 800's internal antenna was picking up 8 satellites..... so this was good news. 😀
These three RT chaps are the best -- https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B1AGAfJVYJ5G6oq. Tim will be with me for the 2nd day of trying on the water.
While down at the factory there was a (factory owned I believe) CW 302 alongside my R29 CB Laxey which was being fitted with a prototype structure for having a dinghy that could be lowered and lifted over its two 300 HP Yamaha outboards. It obviously requires quite a lot of SS structure. I'm assuming the dinghy installs directly over the cockpit and the black box thingy on the cabin roof is a motor for lifting/lowering the dinghy. I'll post shared photos for this in another post for those with an interest. The 2x 300 HP Yamahas look pretty beastly. 😉
