Subject: My new Rite Fill flow meter to the rescue for past 6 days
My new Rite Fill flow meter installed to measure the amount of raw sea water being pulled to the toilet displayed 21.6 gallons after 6 days of boating with 3 and sometimes 4 people onboard.
My holding tank is but 30 gallons so the 21.6 readout tells me it's time to pump out before our next trip. Since my next fuel top up is weeks away the flow meter readout tells me I should not wait until my next fuel top up.
IMO, this flow meter has done it's job in informing me to pump out rather than simply doing it each time I fuel up and for avoiding a nasty cleanup mess having the holding tank overflow.
