My R-27 is under construction!

Well, she showed up at my dealer. Looks pretty good to me. This is a shipping or a yard trailer I suppose, but mine will be a triple, so you get an idea how it will sit on the trailer. They tell me they will leave it covered while they do the bottom painting.

I saw that ultrasonic anti foul solution at the boat show too. It still requires an antifoul coat but it should mean the antifoul last 5+ years between coats. The other interesting thing is you can apply one inducer to the prop/shaft to protect that as well. I think however we might need to switch to a drip less shaft coupler to get the ultrasonic to pass down the shaft. Not 100% on this though.

The owner suggested either the 2 or. 4 inducer system for the Cutwater 28. Works out about the same cost as a antifoul.

Works by ultrasonic cavitation destroying the single cell slime. Then any water movement washes it away.
