I downloaded one of the areas last night for my Droid. We are in the boonies this summer (Grand Teton National Park) and our wireless broadband is slow... it took nearly 90 minutes for the download, but it works great, and for about 12 bucks and change.

I've been waiting for this. It was one of the only apps the iPhone had that I couldn't get on my Droid... and now: Droid DOES! 😎

Best wishes,
Jim B.

Yep....me too. Downloaded the US Central and it looks better than the $200 C-Map chip on my boat. I have to use my readers on it anyway..grins. $12 bucks its a bargain.

Doesn't seem to be available for Evo yet.

We didn't think it was going to work on our Verizon HTC Droid either, but discovered there was a massive update for our phone that we hadn't downloaded. After the download, it was available and seems to work just fine. Thanks for the heads up on a fine, low cost back up system.

I am trying it for the Evo now. I didn't know that they had a 24 hour return policy. Will let you know how it goes.

Tried it on the Evo and it seems to be working perfectly. We are leaving on a three week trip next week along the NJ intra-coastal waterway down to Delaware and back. Should be a great test of it and a good way to document our trip!
