Navionics

Just deleted and downloaded navionics for iPad after it froze. Now will not autoroute dock to dock, just plots straight line. Also lost routes and tracks for last 6 months. Older routes are there, but instead of a line it has displays waypoint for every turn. Queried Navionics, but no reply yet. It remembered boat parameters.

I think autorouting has changed a bit. See this link when getting a straight line result. Probably your problem is that the chart layer must be ‘Nautical’ not ‘sonar’ chart. See if that works.

I would love to hear what the resolution is as well.

I had a similar problem with only getting the straight line, and the issue was that I needed to download the map detail covering the entire route.

I had the same problem the other day. I updated my charts and it went away.

Delegated, reloaded again, downloaded charts, all OK, except a few months missing, probably was not logged win when created.
Did learn how to create on computer with navionics.com and save to iPad app.
