The yard we recently purchased our R25 gave us part numbers for the following: Oil Filter #879172143. We special ordered it from a Cummins dealer in RI, the cost was $34 plus shipping. It is a soft, mesh type filter that I am sure, from engine maintenance experience, is an air filter, as the oil filter is a canister type, so I believe that this number is incorrect. Now, trying to find a dealer or distributer that stocks this filter is darn near impossible. What is the part number for the Air Filter? Cost? # for Fuel Filter? Cost? # for Oil Filter? Cost? Can these be sourced from the factory? TUGETHER is at 25.5 hours and dockbound until we can change the oil. Thanks for any assistance. Kit and Ginny

Look at the bottom left corner of the home page under attachments.
Double click the parts acquisition form.
All the parts you need can be ordered from the factory.

essex ct dealer doesn t have filters you need? also, where do you dock your boat? our r25 is on lake champlain and have noted a growing number of us in the northeast. may trailer boat to mystic in next few weeks. any suggestion on good ramp to put in and haul?

I have been looking for parts for the QSD 2.0 through the local Cummins Distributor or local Cummins Dealers. When you talk to the Parts Department I thought I was asking him for Toyota or Chevrolet parts by the way they all reacted. This engine is not that common in some areas.

First off you must have the ESN # in order to order anything from Cummins. After researching the motor more it is also used with Mercruiser also. If you look at the front of your motor you can get the ESN # and order the filters from your local Mercury Dealer or go online and order. There is a large dealer in Florida that even discounts the parts (what a novel idea).

Thanks for replies. Age related memory caused me to forget that I had already downloaded the TN parts list. However, printer was down at the time and thus, was not placed in my binder. All's OK now after speaking w/ fellow R25 owner and RT pasts dept. Starr: We've not lauched TUGETHER other than Wickford, but launched previous boat successfully and easily in Niantic Harbor at the mouth of the Niantic River just inside and to the East of the Railroad Bridge (forget the height). From there it's an easy cruise to Mystic/New London/Stonington area. However, there are many other ramps closer to and in Mystic. There are two R25's I know of on Narragansett Bay. Come join us. Do not order Cummins filters, they are 2.5 times the factory price....

Oil filter is Napa 1212, way cheeper.
