October 2017 we purchased a new 2018 RT 31CB. Delivery by our local dealer, Reed Yacht Sales, was made May 20, 2018. Paul Reed went above and beyond any expectations we had regarding informing, teaching and educating us on our new tug. We were so excited to take delivery in Lasalle, Michigan and motor “Sonny Side Up” to her home port of Great Lakes Yacht Club in St Clair Shores, Michigan. It was a 51 mile run and we couldn’t wipe the smiles off of our faces. We had been on the Tugnuts forum since October, reading everything possible to educate ourselves. I would ask questions and almost immediately get answers and suggestions. A finer community of fellow boaters does not exist. We ran into some questions that had to be addressed by the Ranger Tug factory and they were so responsive and helpful, either by email or by phone. It is so apparent that the factory has been listening to it’s customers over these many years because we can see the changes that have been made.
These days it seems rare to be satisfied after purchasing anything. Ranger Tugs and Reed Yacht Sales proved that quality, attention to detail and customer satisfaction still do exist. We have never enjoyed a boat as much as we are enjoying our new tug.

Welcome to the Ranger Tug community Sonny and Suzy. As good as it already feels your boating experience will get even better. There is a Great Lakes Rendezvous in the Trent Severn, in ORILLIA Ontario this August 17-19. We only have 5 spots left, if remotely interested email or PM me with questions.

Sonny and Suzy Modiano: I'm please you're pleased with you new Tug. It sounds like your dealership and the RT factory folks have treated you like Royalty.... good show. The RT folks have proven themselves time and again as evident from postings like yours. They are a very busy crew these days and hearing that they can provide the very best customer service is heartening to say the least, as I hear negative things at times about some RT dealerships and the odd complaint about help from RT.

My advice is to keep a friendly relationship with the RT folks as they can get overwhelmed with dealing with the 100s of RT boats out in the field.

Enjoy your new 31CB.... awesome boat and a very good value IMO.

The 31 is an awesome boat, hope you enjoy it for years. We went with the 27OB as we wanted a boat that was easier to trailer, but our second choice was the 31.
