OK fess up....who is the newest 25 tug owner??

I had our R25 delivered last year on July 17th 2009. I'm sure I'm not the newest R25 owner... 🙂

Been 7 months for Levitation, so it's not me...

Better yet, who has hull number one of the R-21, R-25, and the R-29? If there was not a number one in a particular model (such as the R-29) who has the "first".

Give us an update, where do you keep it? Are you the original owner? Any other information that you would care to share.

I have had Nauti Dream for 3 years. We are hull number 7. I am not sure if we are the first R25 on the east coast but we are definitely one of the first. I love this boat and it just seems to get better with time. We have had a great many adventures on it and my 5 year old and wife both love it. We keep it in Hazlet, NJ on the south side of the Raritan Bay, a few miles from Sandy Hook, NJ. We keep it in the driveway over the winter and you would be amazed how many people stop in the middle of the street to admire her.

We took delivery of John's Folly on Sept 18, 2009 in Milwaukee, OR. Do not remember the hull number right off. We are in AZ enjoying some sun right now.

We finalized the purchase of the "Adventurer", a Claret Red hulled, 2010 R-25, on Friday, Jan 29, 2010. We will be mooring her in Anacortes, WA. where we will be re-locating to this spring/early summer. We are looking forward to cruising with the many "Tugnuts" and "C-Brats" this summer. We plan to make the PNW Ranger Rendevous and the Bellingham CBGT. This has been a two year process in deciding between the R-25 and the CD-25 plus waiting for the right time for us. The "Adventurer" was always our first choice and will better suit us and our plans for the future.

Yea Yea, I was hoping we could expose you...grins. Good on your purchase and I wish you the best of luck with and in Adventurer. Keep us posted on your experience.

Thank you. We didn't realize we were hiding as we posted "our good news" earlier on the Tugnuts PNW Rendevous forum and also the C-Brats Seattle Boat Show & Get Together forum. Ida and I are really excited and looking forward to many adventures on the "Adventurer". We are going to have so much fun!

Well, so far the newest 25 owner has not shown up here......he has over on the C-Brats though.

The numbering system is interesting.

We are hull #113, but ours is the FIRST 2009 R25 produced. She was delivered in Aug 2008.

Sparky - etal
Sea Dragon is hull 9001. She is the first hull for 2009 - purchased in May 2009. Not many tugs here in San Diego, but a few. Sparky - suggest that with hull 113 - yours was actually built in 2008. Check the first number on the hull number as I think that is the year. (ie; 8113) Yours might be the "last hull of 2008"???? If so, that could make our boats "sisters" as they could have been in the factory at the same time.

I was at the factory 2 weekends ago for Seattle boat show. Each Boat has a "pedigree" that is kept by Diane in a big binder behind her desk (includes all sales info, test data, configuration and serial numbers of all factory equipment)- I asked her if Sea Dragon was in her book - and she pulled the 2009 binder and there I was - top of the list for 2009, so pretty sure my info is correct.

Cheers to you tuggers
