Have a 2020 C 24, third owner, and the gel coat has faded badly. It was the beige color, not sure what the name Cut and Ranger call that color. Not a bad color, but it's bad now. Not sure how much care was given by previous owners and to be honest, the starboard side got a ton of afternoon sun where it sat on my lift for 4 years....so maybe my waxing was not up to par at least for that side.

Boat needs a refresh on a number of things, and was pulled out of the water today to go on the hard for several weeks, including new bottom paint, new bow thrust, a few odds and ends. Looking for some color suggestions.

Navy blue with red boot?
The grey or slate that some C models come in?
There's always classic white.

I have the light grey, like it, and think I'm lucky that was the one available.

Are you going to trailer it a lot? If you're going through the trouble, might as well have it look nice with your rig!

My C24 is a 2022 and white. You say the gelcoat is "faded". If the gelcoat is not severely damaged, you (with practice) or a professional detailer can easily bring faded gelcoat back to a high gloss finish. I've had 2 boats that I purchased new and held for 20 years each, and people asked, when were they repainted? Response is "never", if you learn to repair and maintain the original gelcoat. Using cleaners, compounding, polishers, and high quality wax or ceramic will yield amazing results. There are tons of Youtube videos out there. Here's one of "Drake's Detailing" videos that at 10:10 restores the hull to better-than-new. It runs the gamut from wash, sand, medium cut compound, polish, and ceramic.
