New CutWater C-288 COUPE

I noticed a new boat on the CutWater site. Not a lot of info there yet. Interesting build 10' beam on 28' with twin 250 outboards, guessing it should really get up and go.

Wondering if anyone has seen one or know where there is more info?

What you see on the website is about it. The only thing I can add is that all the build slots are sold out till March of 2022. Or at least that’s what they said when I ordered one 😀

Thanks to you Martin, I have to swap out the agm for firefly batteries, add a battery monitor, add more solar panels(with new controller) and put in a new trim tab controller, all before I get it into the water.

You would also need to upgrade your battery charger. Fireflies need at least a 20pct charge rate, not the normal 10pct which ABYC state. We have a video being released tomorrow (Tuesday) on our YouTube channel about adding a 70 amp battery charger to our boat. This was the final piece to complete our electrical upgrade.

Also, being a new boat, don’t forget the christening bottle to crack across the bow. 🙂

I wonder if I could sell the parts back to cutwater. Have to pay for the upgrades somehow. (Or maybe cutwater would be nice and put them in for me. Hint, hint :lol: )
