New Dinghy Lift option

I see a new option listed for the R27 this year - for the OB model. A dinghy lift option - but there are no pictures that I can find and I see no discussion in the forums yet. Any chance you could provide better details on the description, a picture, and retrofit for last years model availability? Thank, jz

Here's a video demonstrating the lift on a Cutwater. Probably similar. I'd call the factory to check on retrofitting.

Thanks - looks like a good option and I see no reason it would be hard to be an aftermarket add on. Plan on calling the dealer and then if not the factory.

I worked thru our dealer - who spoke with the factory. The first reply not so good. Apparently they beefed up the swim platform structurally quite a bit to support the dinghy lift option - and so you couldn't just move the option to an earlier version of the 27OB as its platform wouldn't support it. They are considering alternatives - will post here if Ii get anything back that is usable. If others hear - or have ideas - please put them here. THanks, jz
