Are there any plans for in the works for cruises or gathering in the spring of 2020.

I'm a resent first time owner of a 25 foot Ranger Tug and would like to meet other Tugnuts

I have a Ranger 21 and live in Massachusetts and would be game for a local event!

"Maggie" a RT-27OB calls Rockland ME home. Would love a get together. The last few years there has been a RT/Cutwater gathering in Rhode Island in early August.

Greetings,
Hudson River and I Travel often to Portsmouth NH , Piscataqua river , Gulf of Maine. Let me know

YOLO is in Lynn, MA. Always out and about on Mass Bay and the Cape.

I have organized a rendezvous in the Northeast for about 7 years. We used to have a pretty good turnout when it was on the Long Island Sound. Some of the Tuggers further north complained and wanted it up further. We moved it to New Bedford about three years ago and struggled to get attendees. Last summer I canceled it about a week out because we only had two tugs willing to commit.

Have a Ranger 21EC. Would be up for activity this summer. Suggest portion of Erie Canal. It is the perfect venue for tugs.

As sort of a followup to the preceding, I was interested in the New Bedford gathering, but Buzzards Bay can be a terrible environment for a small, light boat with its prevailing SW winds and short, steep chop. Speaking as one 21Eec owner, I would be more comfortable in somewhat sheltered waters. I suspect this may even apply to some of our bigger brethren.

Next year is the 400th anniversary of the founding of Plymouth.

Wouldn't it be the balls if we could have something there?!?! Probably gonna be packed all season.

Also, Scituate Harbor is a great venue. Lot's of moorings, launch service, shopping and restaurants. And there are two Tugnutters located there.

A couple of other possibilities - Narragansett Bay (Bristol, RI is a nice town), or, if not getting too far South, Mystic CT.

I assisted Mike (Knotflying) with the New Bedford gathering. Pope's Island Marina is a good venue, there is a launch ramp close by, plenty of dock space, and a very accommodating staff.
I am from RI, Bristol is a very nice town, however there is limited dockage. Anchoring is good however subject to prevailing Southerly winds. Personally I wouldn't want to be on anchor for a rendezvous. We had a rendezvous in Newport RI, all activities were on the dock, luckily it did not rain. Mystic Seaport in CT is a nice place, there was a rendezvous some years ago there.
When you are planning this you need to consider dockage, a place to eat and meet onsite or at a close by restaurant. Who will you get to attend? RT/Cutwater rep? Garmin rep? local RT/Cutwater dealer etc?
Just some thoughts.

Is anyone interested in doing this for real. I'd be happy to help with the organization and planning if there is a serious interest in having some sort of Ranger Tug Northeast meet up next summer. It seems like it was planned in the past but I wasn't well attended. Maybe even something small with just a weekend casual meetup somewhere would be good. I think that the location is key since it would be a range of boats- anyone?

We would be happy to plan/participate with our 21ec Red Owl. It would be fun to plan something for next summer while the snow swirls about our houses.

We plan to have our boat in Boston Area this summer. Count us in on a New England rendezvous!

YOLO would be interested, but it seems to always fall on our vacation. So yes, but depending on date.

We would also be interested in participating depending on timing and location. We had hoped to attend the past gams in New Bedford, but just couldn't make it work.
