Tony and Karen Long here. Last night we were sitting at the dinette table doing some computer work. The cabin was quite and we noticed a new noise that sounds like rice crispie treats snapping and crackling and popping. It was coming from the forward cabin. Upon inspection, we heard it the loudest under the step when we removed the cover to the step. This morning, the sound continues and could be heard through the night as we awake off and on. We're in the cockpit now emptying lazarettes and the same sound is heard on the port side of the boat in the lazarette as well as the center lazarette that holds our generator. We have a 2019 27ft Ranger Tug. We've cleaned out the c-strainers as well. The c-strainer did have some grime in it. I've taken a a picture of the water gauge to see if we notice a water loss later today. We're not sure what else to do. Any ideas for us?
