Have an RT29, looking to install a 12v outlet on the port berthing area, as there are none currently.
Also a 12v outlet near the port side seat in the cabin and a 120ac on the port side by the sink.
How difficult to install and wire?

Thanks

The 120v needs to be ground fault, so make sure you tie into the load side if you are connecting into an existing line. However I have found that slack on an existing line will probably not be enough. You can probably run a line direct from the panel. The hardest part will be snaking the wire.

The co2 detectors are wired and only last approx 5 years before needing replacement. I replaced mine with lithium battery detectors and then used the existing wiring to put in two usb ports. one was on the port side of the berth and one was starboard side above where the fuse panel is on the newer RT 29's.
