New owner looking for a ferry pilot from Friday Harbor to Bainbridge Island

Hello, I just bought my first R-27 and I'm looking for a captain to help me bring the boat back from Friday Harbor to Bainbridge Island. If anyone has any advice or contacts please let me know. Many thanks!! Cheers MH

This contact is a bit old (2023) but he’s great work with. Lives in Anacortes. Port Boat House of Port Alberni hired him to bring our C-28 from Vancouver Island to Anacortes where it had to be for the closing of the sale. Great guy! Owns a Fluid Motion boat and gives instruction on most FM models.
Hopefully he is still doing captain duties. “Captain John” at 9 two five two six zero-552 six.

I picked up my boat in Friday Harbor too, back in April 2025. I used Seattle Seafaring (https://seattleseafaring.com/) and highly recommend them. Captain Christopher Howard (chris@seattleseafaring.com) handled the delivery from FH to Seattle. He was very professional and gave us a ton of useful insights and tips throughout the trip. Excellent experience overall.
