New Owner With a Question

Hello
My name is Darrell Low. My wife Susan and I took delivery of a 2009 Ranger 25 a few days ago. I'm getting familiar with most of the systems on the boat but I'm having no luck with the Raymarine ST6002 autopilot. I get the boat heading in the right direction, press the AUTO switch and the boat goes wherever it pleases. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

There is a setup and calibration procedure in the manual (usually).
In my case, doing a large circle with the boat per the calibration procedure solved the same issue.

Try checking for separate power switch. That is how my AP is wired.
