Hi all
Took delivery of a used R 25 that was listed with Irwin's Yacht Sales in Seatle, and slipped her into it's new home in Gibsons BC. Thanks to Dave off the R25 "LABO" who sold my wife on this model, and to Matt from Irwin's Yacht Sales for all his assistance. Name is yet to be determined , keep the one it presently has "Rubato" ( music term for steeling time) or rename it "FINALLY".
Weather is looking good, will have to get out and become familar with all the knobs and swiches.

Congratulations, I hope to join the floating Ranger family sooner than later.

Welcome to the Ranger Tug Family!!!

I'm sure some others will add comments as to why one shouldn't change the name of a boat, unless some ritual is conducted :? ...I'm new at this also, just figured my Port from Starboard, and still call it a latrine instead of head!!!

Congats on the new baby - finally.
Curious to hear how smoothly the transfer from a US boat to a Canadian boat went - duties, extra taxes, etc.
Cheers. Your best summer ever is just around the corner.

John

Name will remain Rubato

Welcome, Bob & Anita. Have fun with Rubato. And now I know where to find a trailer...... Got a truck too?

Good to hear about everyone's new boat.

We are proud to announce that we too just took delivery of a new (2011) Ranger Tug 21-EC.
I've been a long time sailor and we were finding that Darnelle, (the wife) was coming out less and less. Being on the San Francisco Bay, it was simply the COLD. So I mentioned the Boat Show to her and that there was only one boat I'd be interested in buying; the Ranger Tug.
Long story short; we bought it and lucky we did. We happen to be at the Show on the first day and the broker had more than a few interests in the boat.
We berth her in Sausalito and have named her, PEANUT & CRACKER JACK, (continuing our theme of baseball related named boats.)

Hope to see you on the Bay!

Cheers,
Keith Denebeim (Cracker Jack)
Darnelle Little (the Peanut)

Hi Bob and Anita;

Welcome to the R25 "Classic" club. That makes two R25 at the Gibson's Marina! With the R29 and two R21's that are already there, we have quite a flotilla! It was great to meet and chat with you on the dock. Lovely looking boat.

Cheers
